3FE Packaging (2013)

Founded in 2010, 3FE (Third Floor Espresso) serves high-quality espresso and filter coffee. Having supplied coffee to numerous coffee outlets throughout the country, they opened a roastery in Dublin in early 2014. We designed packaging to house the freshly-roasted beans. The vacuum pack is a matte white, with a green/blue base and features the signature 3FE ambigram.

In 2010 3FE started serving the ‘set’ to reintroduce people to espresso, who had given up on it long ago. The ‘set’ soon became synonymous with 3FE and has since been adopted in many cafes both at home and abroad.

In 2013, 3FE collaborated with Wicklow Potter Christien van Bussel to create these handmade, limited-edition cups. The boxes were designed and produced by Snow. Made from Scandinavian beech, these boxes are reminiscent of the old branded coffee chests of a time gone past. We then designed a simple wrap that slides comfortably over the box to complete the set.
