Is tionscadal staire pobail agus ealaíne é Turas Connamara. Léarscáil dhigiteach & fuaime a bheith ann. D'oibrigh an t-ealaíontóir Ríonach Ní Néil le pobail Ghaeltachta Connamara ó Charna go Cois Fharraige. Déanann an léarscáil doiciméadú ar saibhreas chultúrtha Chonamara, labhartha agus liteartha an réigiúin. Ag baint úsáide as an App agus an 424 bus is féidir le duine ar bith Turas Connamara a thógáil.
Dhearamar cló ‘Turas’ a úsáideadh don Logotype. Tógann sé inspioráid ó Connemara, níl na línte go hiomlán díreach agus níl na foirmeacha litreach aonchineálach. Cuireann sé an Cló Gaelach in iúl freisin ach ar bhealach comhaimseartha. Cosúil le pobail Ghaeltachta nua-aimseartha tá an Ghaeilge lárnach, ach ní shainmhíníonn sí í. Ar an gcaoi chéanna, is é timpeallacht Connamara a threoraíonn an pailéad dathanna.

Turas Connamara is a community history and art project. Consisting of a digital & audio map. Artist Ríonach Ní Néil worked with Connamara Gaeltacht communities from Carna to Cois Fharraige. The map documents the region’s rich Irish language music, oral and literary culture. Using the App and the 424 bus anyone can take the Turas Connamara.
We designed a font ‘Turas’ used for the Logotype. It’s informed by Connemara, the lines aren’t perfectly straight and the letterforms aren’t strictly uniform. It also nods to an Cló Gaelach but in a contemporary way. Like modern Gaeltacht communities Irish is central, but doesn’t solely define it. Likewise the colour palette is informed by the Connamara environment.
