The Road To The Battle (2014)

'The Road To The Battle' was a modern interpretation of the Battle of the Boyne, 1690.

For the design concept, we were given the script and we interpreted it, creating a piece that was a modernist take on a historical event. We used some sculptural work by the artist Jason Ellis, symbolising conflict and division, to get across the juxtaposition of an historical event that had been given a modern, contemporary angle.
