The Otherworld (2012)

A belief in the existence of otherworldly phenomena has long been established in Irish tradition and facets of such belief continue to be found in contemporary Irish society.

Red Dog designed 'The Otherworld' for the National Folklore Collection. It includes two discs of music, song and lore and examines aspects of the enduring belief and fascination which the Irish imagination has with supernatural beings, encounters and occurrences as represented in song and music. The cover features an ethereal image of Inch Beach, Kerry, while use of archival black and white photography gives the book a distant, traditional quality.
