Louise Costelloe used her time as Resident Dance Officer with South Dublin County Council to reflect upon and re-examine our relationship with manmade spaces and structures.
The commemorative booklet features 3 essays from Irish dancers and choreographers, plus a series of photographs from a site-specific performance in a South Dublin urban space. The design uses overlaid grids for the various content elements. The system helps create accidental moments of juxtaposition to mirror the tension between the performers and their environment. A broadside fold allows the A5 booklet to unfold into an A2 poster, adding an additional spacial element.
