Territory, Encounter & Negotiation (2014)

We worked closely with Fiona – a visual artist and educator – to create a book which documented her ten years working with the Rialto Youth Project. The book featured a range of essays, diaries and photography, as well as a series of commissioned illustrations by Orla Whelan. The many voices within the book were subtly represented by a variety of typographic treatments. Working with a limited palette enabled us to maintain consistency in light of the varying style and quality of imagery featured. We also created a website which allows people to purchase the book and keep up with Fiona’s work as she moves onto other projects.
