Studio 468

Studio 468: A working space in Rialto – documents and contextualises the activities of a community arts initiative in Rialto, Dublin 8. The book captures 8 years of artistic achievement and community collaboration – including an engaging and sometimes challenging Artist in Residence programme. The modest budget available and the variable quality of sources dictated many of the decisions made with regard to the design of the book (selective use of full-colour sections, etc.). However this did not curtail the designer's and/or client's ambition for the final production, which employs folding as a simple mechanism to produce a sophisticated and distinctive cover design.
