Ships: Precession

One Strong Arm designed and produced the album artwork for Irish music duo Ships (Simon Cullen & Sorca McGrath) for their debut album, Precession. The sleeve is letterpress printed and finished by hand using bookbinding techniques. The binding creates a hinged spine allowing each of the four faces to become the front cover. Coupled with this feature, the die-cuts and inserts allow for multiple permutations and visual combinations, in an attempt to visually represent the muti-layered and textured Ships sound.
