Pocket Forests

Pocket Forests create small urban ecosystems. In gardens, sports grounds, schools, universities and shared spaces. 

Founded by Catherine Cleary and Ashe Conrad-Jones, they were inspired by the Tiny Forest concept. This uses the Miyawaki method devised by Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki to grow native forests quickly.

These booklets will be a part of Pocket Forest’s Tree Pack, to help others create their own urban forest. Illustrations by Enagh Farrell accompany a guide to maintaining your native trees and shrubs.
