Optica Postcards

Dublin based opticians, Optica, approached One Strong Arm to design and letterpress print this project based on a collection of phrases and slogans which they've been collating for a number of years. The resulting set of postcards were printed using hand-set wooden and metal type, eight designs in total, printed on eight shades of Colorplan stock, resulting in 64 combinations. Each postcard was printed by hand on our 1964 Korrex Berlin proofing press. This initial set forms the basis of an ever-expanding collection of phrases which will be added to over time.
