Open House Dublin, delivered by the Irish Architecture Foundation, is Ireland’s biggest architecture festival, with buildings opening their doors for public tours and events, over a long weekend each October.
The focus of the 2011 programme and key figure in the 1930s and 1940s urban Irish landscape, Herbert Simms’ Amsterdam style – with its curved corners – was the inspiration for the identity created for this year’s festival.
We created a unique, clear, fun identity – supported by a pocket-sized festival guidebook – which enabled attendees to get the most from the event; and has assisted in bolstering the profile of both Open House Dublin and the Irish Architecture Foundation.
