NYOI – Announcement for Auditions

The National Youth orchestra required a modest fly poster to announce their annual auditions to attract the best young classical musicians in Ireland. Typically an A3 poster would suffice and this would be accompanied by various application forms, permissions slips, information leaflets. We proposed a single design that fulfilled all their requirements on one sheet reducing both production costs and leading to greater efficiencies in the recording of applicant details. The simple typographic solution uses mechanical screens and photographs as references to ticker tape (as information carrier) and confetti (as celebration).
