Crechecom was founded in 2014 with a mission to revolutionise how Childcare facilities operate. This new tablet based software application was designed specifically for childcare practitioners in a classroom environment to help them with the overwhelming administration and paperwork load they process on a daily basis.
The application enables practitioners to record meals, naps, bathroom breaks, observations, developmental activities and photos in seconds. There is also a 'Parent App' which provides families and guardians with secure real-time updates and photos.
While looking for seed funding in early 2015, Crechecom decided to rebrand completely and become Little Vista.
Key points in the brief for this rebrand were that Little Vista wanted to appeal to ALL childcare facilities and not just crèches. It was very important to be seen as a tech company with a revolutionary solution rather than a Crèche with a piece of software. Therefore all visual cues to crèches were avoided (child writing, primary colours etc) aswell as avoiding any images of children.
Friendly clean typography, a calming pastel palette and beautiful photography featuring classic children's toys in clean landscapes all contribute to the overall feeling of trust that Little Vista wish their target audience to feel when they engage with this new Irish brand.
