Irish Film Board Production Catalogue (2010)

The production catalogue is one of the most important pieces of the Irish Film Board’s communications, it’s used at all the major international film festivals. For the 2010 edition, were given the theme “This is Irish Film”. We considered a cost-effective signage method that dates back almost as far as cinema itself – neon. We commissioned the magenta neon sign and photographed it in our studio. The resulting image sits on the cover of the catalogue and the magenta used in the sign carries throughout the book. The cover was printed with a high gloss finish to contrast with the uncoated finish on the inside.
