The Institute of Designers Ireland is the professional body representing the interests of Irish designers. The organisation was in need of refocusing its identity, proposition and reconnecting with the design community. RichardsDee were approached to interrogate the IDI’s positioning and develop a new identity, brand graphic style and communications platform to enable relevance.
We started by reinvesting back into name of the Institute of Designers in Ireland and reinforce their position as the leading organization for designers in Ireland – the proposition ‘Leading Design’ was created to confirm this. Simplifying the brand identity brings a renewed sense of confidence and the refreshed communications style are playful, dramatic and engaging.
