I Am Ireland (2015)

Culture Ireland’s International Programme for 2016—a 46 page perfect bound book promoting Irish Cultural events worldwide.

Inspired by the opening line of Mise Éire, one of PH Pearse’s poems, and using cover photographs from ARTlifeCULTURE’s international youth arts initiative, AiR, the programme celebrates a contemporary Ireland, of young and established artists, influenced by Ireland’s geographic position, history and cultural journey over the past one hundred years.

I am Ireland, I am here; a line drawn in the sand, making a mark, leaving a trace. Lines help to divide sections of the book, whilst its images and text travel freely around a loose grid to suggest movement and dispersion.
