Gorge Us is a healthy range of different foods for those who love eating honest good produce, launched by Unislim, Ireland’s leading health and fitness brand. This is their first foray into food retail. We devised the brand name Gorge Us which plays on the idea that this range is a healthy and tasty alternative for health-conscious foodies, rather than just slimmers.
An elegant, simple and striking approach to the packaging was devised, which offers clear shelf stand-out in a visually busy environment. Photography was simple and straight forward, capturing the honest quality of the food. Initially, launching with one oven chip product, these were so popular that three other chip options were added.
Colour was selected to contrast with the product and to create differentiation in the oven chip segment while also establishing a range with high impact.
The brand expanded to include other lines, such as frozen fruit bags and healthy oat bars with the same guiding principle that only the finest ingredients are selected for inclusion, receiving the seal of approval from nutritionists.
layful elements add character to the brand, such as the changing exclamation mark and smaller graphic assets within the packaging, help guide the consumer to important nutritional decisions, creating a distinctive visual style which helps differentiate Gorge Us from competitors.
