Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate has been a family run hotel for decades. The current owner lives locally and was committed to restoring the old world charm while giving it a contemporary twist. We were tasked with creating a new brand identity and suite of materials for the hotel including a custom built website.
The brand identity showcases the history, family focus and five star offering in harmony. We were keen to keep the old world charm but develop a logo that had more weight and impact than the previous iteration, one that reflects the old world glamour from the outset across all brand elements. The new brand identity is based on the old French family coat of arms who were the original owners of this hotel. We modernised it and added some new flourishes to reflect the hotel as it is now and give a five star feel. The colour palette consists of golds, soft creams and heritage green.
The website was custom built with a unique booking system that seamlessly allows customers to book their stay online. The new brand identity was carried through across the website design to reinforce the modernised brand and echo the elegant old world charm.
