FRANC №2

FRANC is a biannual fashion magazine, founded by Briony Somers and Lauren Henshaw in Dublin. It features personal and academic writing, interspersed with fashion editorial. For its second issue a complete redesign was implemented. Eschewing trends in contemporary publishing, the redesign looked to mid-20th Century titles to inform an elegant and reserved aesthetic. 48 pages are printed in 1 colour on a mix of coated and uncoated paper stocks. An additional 16 pages were printed in full colour. The issue was launched at the Royal Irish Society of Antiquaries on the 21st October 2015.
