Feeld is an inclusive dating app, open to all genders and sexual identities. 2019 marked Feeld’s first participation in London’s Pride parade which called for a distinctive and celebratory suite of graphics.
Using the custom typeface Stonewall 50 – commissioned specially for the event and in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising – various materials were designed around the slogan ‘Free To Be’ as an expression of gratitude, solidarity and support for the LGBTQI+ community.
T-shirts were created and handed out to parade participants, who were invited to finish the slogan ‘Free To Be … ’ however they chose. A series of posters was also designed, using different iterations of the slogan: Free To Be Safe, Free To Be Curious, Free To Be Together. The posters were turned into DIY placards for the event, in further tribute to the courage of Stonewall protesters in 1969.
