Falmouth University MA Show Identity

This project was produced for the annual MA Show in Falmouth University. The MA Show 2015 exhibited work from students in MA Art & Environment, MA Fine Art: Contemporary Practice and MA Illustration: Authorial Practice. Falmouth University, located in Cornwall, was rated UK’s top specialist arts university by Complete University Guide 2015.

Working with the University's existing branding the words ‘MA Show 2014’ are slightly obscured from view. This revealing of the title is designed to trigger intrigue in the audience and a fitting way to represent the breadth of work on display. The typography gives a mature feeling yet its treatment is contemporary – an aesthetic inline with the well developed, contemporary work produced by the MA students.

The poster was produced in a range of sizes alongside an A5 invitation and accompanying exhibition material. The exhibition material, which appeared in the gallery spaces, was more restrained to allow focus on graduates work.
