Home of the Irish Grand National, the biggest event on the Irish horse racing calendar, Fairyhouse is a local and national institution. As one of Ireland’s premier racecourses, it is a prime example of how the old and the new mix to provide a unique sporting and entertainment experience.

In creating the Fairyhouse brand, it was important that we recognised the heritage of the venue — we took our inspiration from the wind vane thats sits above the entrance to the racecourse, featuring the legendary racehorse Arkle. Three time winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup and winner of the 1964 Irish Grand National. We paired this mark with a contemporary logotype, which utilises both modern and classical influences, along with the founding year of the racecourse, 1848.

The colour palette was revamped and expanded to take into account digital applications and it's use in the treatment of imagery; whilst also providing the team at Fairyhouse with a distinct brand toolkit that can be used to promote the racing, the venue, and the various experiences they host across the year in both digital and print.
