Dublin City as a grid – Map (2014)

Commissioned by Le Cool Dublin and Visit Dublin, this map was designed for the tourist office’s new campaign, Dublin Now. With the aim of steering people deeper into the city and beyond from the regular tourist haunts, it’s more a local’s guide to the city. As it is mainly for use by walkers and cyclists I simplified the city down to a grid, removing subtle street angles. Illustrations of landmarks are by Yellowhammer.
