Ceadogán Rugmakers

In 2021, we had the wonderful opportunity to work with Ceadogán Rugmakers on a brand refresh.

In June 2020, Denis Kenny and Fiona Gilboy who had passionately led the team at Ceadogán for over thirty years decided it was time to pass the baton onto Colm Kenny and Martina Navrátilová, keeping the business in the family. To mark the takeover and their first year in business, Colm and Martina wanted to refresh the company's look and feel to reflect their new focus.

We worked on the new visual identity and front end of the website, bringing warm autumnal tones to the brand palette and a wordmark that has a nod to tradition, while remaining soft and approachable. Colours were inspired by place, with hues based on the natural elements and materiality found at their rural workshop in Barrystown, Co. Wexford. Photographer Caolan Barron was commissioned to create a new suite of images that truly represent the location, personality and ethos of Ceadogán Rugmakers.
