CCoI Enterprise Website

The purpose of this website is to give advice and guidance to Craftspeople who are interested in starting a business. The Crafts Council of Ireland have been very active in this area for many years and so had a wealth of content. Our first job was to make sense of the various content strands and how best to arrange them for the user.

We wanted the site to be very clean, clear and helpful and so shaped the content into four sections – business, ideas, support and connection. These represent the journey of starting a business, from asking basic questions to meeting the right people. This simple, clear approach runs throughout the site with the use of a focused set of tags in each section. The site was also designed to have no 'dead ends', with the users journey always ending in a prompt to further action.
