CAUTION! Fragile. Irish Glass: Tradition in Transition draws on the cultural identity of Ireland through a series of figurative glass pieces; monastic bells, swords and spears, discs and drums. These iconic objects infused with cultural resonance create simple ideas of archaic atmosphere, and represent changes currently occurring in the Irish crystal glass industry.
To package a collection as exquisite as this was quite a challenge. 'Low key', 'soft spoken', 'reverent', 'timeless'... these words guided us.
