Carsten Höller: Decision (2015)

Catalogue for the Hayward Gallery’s Carsten Höller retrospective. The two-volume set consists of a collection of short stories on the theme of decision-making, and a volume of installation photography accompanied by an interview with the artist, packaged together in a paper wrapper. Two photographers were commissioned for the installation shots, both moving independently through the space, the only condition being to take at least one shot of each artwork. These images were placed side by side on spreads, echoing the multiple ways in which the visitor could enter and navigate the exhibition.
