BoxWorks

BoxWorks is a CoWork Space aimed at the tech sector and small startups. The owner acquired the building as a concrete shell which provided a blank industrial canvas to design around. We were engaged to create the Name and Visual Identity. In a previous life the site housed a butchers and printworks. Alongside its history, the shape of the building, and the plan to create boxed spaces inspired the name. The logotype typography reflects the shapes of the steel girders and the lettering found embossed on industrial equipment. The colour palette is vibrant and the application of the identity is large and bold. The logo was constructed into a steel light box which hangs a centrepiece in the entrance area.
