Australian Open

The Australian Open is the is the first of four Grand Slam tennis events held each year, taking place in Melbourne in January.

The theme of the 2022 tournament was 'playful Melbourne' to celebrate a return to the event after a covid hiatus. The illustrations reflected this, depicting different areas of the event.

The artwork was used as large scale hoarding at the entrance to and inside the grounds. Postcards and prints of the artwork were sold in a dedicated shop on site, and framed prints were displayed in players' changing rooms and other VIP areas.
