Atelier RAA are a London based architectural and interior design consultancy who produce work that ranges from private residential projects to interior design solutions for the restaurant and retail sector. They aspire to create immersive environments that encourage positive engagement.
The studio’s process begins with rigorous research to gain a deep understanding of the social, cultural and historic fabric of each individual project. To create emotive and engaging spaces, they focus on the intrinsic value of materiality and attention to detail.
The identity for the practice is inspired by the company’s ethos of looking closer. The logo responds to its environment, expanding and contracting, and encouraging an engagement with the intentional spaces, the in-between.
The colour palette is inspired by the use of light and shade in Atelier RAA’s spaces, and the spark of creativity the studio brings to every project. The typographic structure is offset in places, taking inspiration from architectural forms. Silence can speak volumes and within the empty spaces, life happens.
