Archivist

This is Archivist, a semi calligraphic sans-serif designed for the Chester Beatty Library for the Gift of a Lifetime exhibition. Inspiration was taken from the exhibition subjects matter; which contained may rare instances of calligraphic work from around the world; through-out many different time periods. Letters like E, B, show the base sans serif structure of the type while letters like S and O show the typefaces more calligraphic features with its major contrast between thick and thins. A full set of diacritics are available in order to accommodate the global nature of the artwork featured in the exhibition.
