A couple of weeks ago we were in touch about 2018 plans for the 100 Archive. These included some outline information on staff, new funding streams and partnerships. We got some really useful initial feedback and feel it's worth discussing some of these proposals with the 100 Archive community in more detail.
2018 will be significant point of development for us and it's important that those who have supported the 100 Archive to date are fully behind what is proposed. As we mentioned we are working with Business to Arts and Dublin’s Culture Connects to produce a development and growth strategy for the next 5 years. Key to this strategic ambition is ensuring we have the funds required to sustain and increase our activity as we showcase and map the people, places and ideas that shape Irish visual communications.
We would love you to join us in the new year, not just to give us your thoughts and feedback but also to invite real involvement and collaboration from here on in. We have always said that the community had to be at the heart of the project for it to be relevant and sustainable. With that in mind we want you to help us develop the 100 Archive’s future aims and objectives and help us figure out how we can achieve them together. We will share a draft of our strategic plan, developed in consultation with Business to Arts and Dublin’s Culture Connects for community input, comment and approval and invite you to help us reach the goals we set out in this document.
In the meantime the only changes to current pricing plans will be the small addition of €20 to the annual subscription charge, and €10 to individual credits. We would like to encourage established designers and studios to support us with the purchase of a subscription rather than individual credits, and if you are crediting multiple designers then we would be even more grateful if you would purchase more than one subscription.
Pencil Thursday 25 January in your diaries, and we will be in touch in early in the new year with further details. We are looking forward to the conversation.
